A question for the melanin-deprived...
« on: September 04, 2009, 02:15:54 PM »
This post goes out to all of my fellow members of the Pale Force.  If your typically-unexposed skin falls between 3-11 on the von Luschan scale...

... then I am talking to you.

What type of coloring have you managed to achieve on your bald head?  Are you always just shy of a tomato?  or maybe just a little pinkish?  or eternally bleached?

When you shave your head, are bumps or other skin irritations more noticeable in your opinion?

Do you feel like you shine more than your darker-skinned compatriots?

Do people think you look sick all of the time?

I'm just curious as to how being unable to achieve a 'healthy coloring' by media standards has affected your life of slyness.

My heritage is French Canadian. I give "white" a whole new meaning.

I just stay covered up and out of the sun as much as possible.
