A family of foxes are living in the catch basin next to our house. The catch basin is dry 99.9% of the time and fenced, so I think they feel safe in there. I'm told by our neighbors that they've had babies in there several times over the years. We see them out playing almost every morning. There is a pond behind our yard with lots of food for them (ducks, geese, frogs, and turtles), so that probably keeps them coming back too.
This picture isn't very good, but the only one I've been able to get so far ...
All I know is that we had foxes in the yard for years and thought it was pretty cool, even though my wife worried about our cat! Then one of them must have gotten hit by a car and then it went into the furthest reaches of our deck and died!!!
Turns out the stench was unbearable and it took me nearly a days work to figure out a way to get it out from under it's maybe 8 inch high death spot! I no longer look at foxes as cool as I once did.
Just my 2 cents worth of experience!
Sure could use some foxes up here. We are 5 years into a 7 year cycle. Right now we are at the apex of the rabbit population. I sat o nthe porch last night with 8 adult rabbits in my front yard at once. And I only have the standard 1/4 acre lot. The foxes will move back within a couple of years and take care of that problem, but will become a nuisance of their own. The bald eagles and redtail hawks have already begun moving back to help trim the herd. Nature! Gotta love it.
I keep hoping the foxes take out the skunk living under my front porch, but so far no luck.

Boy, you got your passells of trouble from both, as they both can carry rabbies.
There is a fox living down the street from me. But she is a human.
I've got a rabbit living in the back yard. When I go out, I can always get within 4 steps of it before it hops away
