I haven't tried it, but I have tried Nair on my face before and let me tell you.  That is the worst thing I have ever done to my face.  My entire beard area was red and swollen for DAYS!  Definitely one way to get some color in your scalp, but after my experience...

The most I will ever try is shaving powder.  That stuff does seem to work well enough, but it would probably dry to concrete on my scalp before I got it all scraped off.  It is generally on the bottom shelf in the shaving area and is marketed as a way to prevent or manage PFB (pseudofoliculitis barbae).  It looks like a mini paint can.

If you try any of them, I would make sure to try on a small test spot rather than going whole hog.  You wouldn't want a bad chemical burn all over your head, but that is likely what you will get.

You know that it has to work by some CHEMICAL reaction...... NO THANKS!!!! The only checmical reaction I want going into my body is the one that turns water and hops into beer......

I looked at the ingredients on the link you posted.  Its calcium hydroxide, the same stuff in nair and all the others.  I'd stay away from that stuff.

Stay away from any chemicals, especially on the scalp.   :/O

Just get your favorite razor and keep on shaving, it's much more enjoyable.   O0

Just say "NO" to hair removal creams!!!!!   J_B, all I can say is "BURN, PAIN"" I have tried the nair for men on my head once, and only once!!!! It was by far the most painfull thing that I have ever done to myself, as mentioned already my head too was extremley sore and red and swolen from using this evil concoction. Please for the love of god stay away from this stuff, please trust me!!!!!

I'd much rather go through a vasectomy with no freezing of any kind than put that stuff on my head ever again.
