Freshly Shorn
« on: February 27, 2007, 03:24:01 PM »
I've been a visctim of male pattern baldness since early in college. My original solution was to keep it short, but over the years I've grown tired of the $20+ "trims". So, I started to tell myself that when the weather got warmer, I'd take it all off. That was last year :(

Well... At 3 am Monday morning (after a large dose of liquid courage) I finally did it. Man, what a relief! I did leave a beard that I've been growing for an impending camping trip. Next week I'll see what I look like completely hairless O0

Thanks, OCH. I work at a bank, so I wear a suit every day. I kind of feel like a hitman when I'm roaming around with my shades on!

Welcome to Sly Bald Guys! I gotta say, you should keep the beard. I love the way beards look with a bald head, but unfortunately for me work won't allow me to have a full beard. The bald look works DAMN good for you, keep it up!

Thanks guys!

I already owned a pair of fade shears, so I just took to it till it was all gone! The shears get incredibly close, so all I needed after that was a little shaving lotion and a Mach 3 to get the job done.

Yesterday I purchased a Headblade Sport. It made for a much better shave than the Mach 3... in my humble, newbie opinion. The next step is figuring out the best way to shave (i.e. - oil, cream, aftershave, lotion, etc...). Your personal routines would be greatly appreciated, along with product references. I have oily, and sometimes sensitive skin, so keep that in mind.

Thanks in advance!
