Grocery Shopping Woes
« on: July 17, 2009, 10:52:25 AM »
Alright fellas,

We've all done it, and we all do it. What is it? Forgotten that one grocery item that makes you yell in exasperation when you get home and realize what your missing.

So fess up, and tell us about it!

Today I forgot baking powder of all things. @c3

I usually forget the ONE thing that I went there for... especially at Wal-Mart.  I get mesmerized finding all of the things that I didn't really realize that I needed.  One of these days when they ask me if I found everything that I needed, I'm going to say, 'no, but I did find all of this stuff that I don't need.'   ;)
How is that Hopey / Changey thing working for you?

I never forget anything because I never go to the store with the intention of buying anything in particular.  I just wander around the store aimlessly until I have enough food to get me through the next few days.   #ng^y

I ALWAYS forget salt. It's one of those things I buy so little, that when I need it, it takes me 6 visits to remember

We used to live one block behind a grocery store.  I was sent there many times to get a forgotten item.

A couple of times we'd end up with someone else's groceries that they forgot and ended up in our cart.  We didn't pay for them.  I never was anything we wanted to eat, though.
