Greetings Fellas
« on: July 10, 2009, 06:17:21 PM »
Hey guys... First time poster.

I dealt with MPB since my early 20's (now 37) and went through all the misery - wearing hats, different lengths of hair,  different combing styles in attempt to cover etc... I finally had enough and threw in the towel. I should have done this years ago.

Last month I buzzed down with no attachment to prepare myself for full out Slyness - and wore it like that for about a month.

Today, while i was in CVS, they were having a buy one get one free sale on the Ti Schick Quattro and blade attachments. I scored 2 Ti Quattros and 16 blades for $20. Sweet deal

So I get home, took an extra hot shower, and did the deed to full blown Slyness. AMAZING! The look & feel couldn't be more satisfying to me.

Cheers to all you Sly Cats and this awesome website!

Sorry for the lousy pic... I'll get a better one up shortly.

That's the most awsome feeling isn't it?  Too bad we can't repeat that "first time" feeling - and I'm not just talking about headshaving!   ;)

Welcome to the forum Supersly - your ID name says it all.  Next step is to post up your photo.

Welcome and salutations !

These guys are great here (I'm new myself). Just ask a question and someone will have an answer ...about almost anything.

I think you will be glad you found this place, I am.

Welcome to the site. The name is very appropriate as that is one bad  arst dome you have there.  Seems you should have done the deed a long time ago. Come to the site often as it is very informative and supportive.  Great men here.

Thanks for the all the welcomes and comments guys. So glad to be here.

As far as reactions so far... I stopped by my parents house earlier and neither of them said a thing. I think they got used to the extremely short buzz I was sporting for the last month and either a) didn't notice a difference or b) didn't say anything because they know how ticked off I got over the years with people commenting on me going bald.

One other positive benefit so far is my new look had me pushing harder at the gym today with my workout. I'm enthused to drop a few lbs. and pack on some lean muscle to compliment my new dome!

Welcome to Sly Bald Guys!!
