Been perfect weather here for the past month....sunny days with highs in the upper 70's, low humidity, and rain showers at night to keep things green.  I better brag now because in 5 months it'll be totally crap with temps below zero day after day.

The birds and retirees have it figured out - summers up north and winters down south.  Wish it worked for all of us working stiffs.   :-[

<-----------Ready to scream!

Took a vacation day today.

First day off since June 14.  (I'm getting too old to work 7 days a week for a whole month, but that's another post in the making...lol)

So, it's my first day off of the summer...and "dangerous thunderstorms" are rolling in.

ARGGGH.  Not to mention, it's the coldest July in Chicago since the Ice Age.  ARGGGGH.

I'm going to the World's Largest Block Party tonite to see Gavin DeGraw...

...and...I Don't Wanna Be...wet!

108 outside in Phoenix, AZ now. As for rain ,  what is that ? Nah, we see it now and again. Usually during monsoon season though (which is now).

Send RAIN the Texas way, very little relief, usually little storms that kick up, make a lot of noise and drop very little rain.

It's early in the monsoon season here, and we sure can use it, that's for sure.
I don't mind the clouds this time of year, and hopefully the rains will follow.
