I tried a Fusion - it sucked.

Best one I've used so far is the Mach 3 Turbo.

Haven't seen these other ones you refer to. Are the cartridges more economical than the name brands?

I just shave  my dome and i think torq  gave me less cuts than the fuzion did..

Torq-feels cheap, good price, i shocked when i put the alcohol on my head afterwards it didnt hurt as much, i assume bc i had less cuts

Fuzion- feels strong and  looks  great.. costly.

Who makes the TORQ and just how frickin' big is it?????  With six blades, I'm thinking it's probably about the size of a cell phone...

And welcome Hollidae

Now is this like the Fusion, 5 blades for shaving and one for tough spots or is it 6 shaving blades?
It's all about attitude!

I just had to give my review also.  I have been a long time fusion user, but I cringed everytime I had to buy blades.

I thought that it was worth giving the Torq a try since K-Mart will let you return it if you are not satisfied

I am giving this a big thumbs up.  I get a really close shave without irritation.  This is much better on my face than the fusion.  And the best part is the razor and 2 cartridges were just a little over $5.  The results on my dome are comparable to the fusion.

This one is a keeper.  All you fusion users owe it to yourself to give it a try. This does not feel like a generic/knock-off brand razor.

I won a K-mart gift card for 2500 awhile back, so I have been spending a lot of time shopping at Sears, K-mart, Lands End, etc.  I saw this TORQ, six blades, price was right.

I prefer it over the Fusion and the M5.  It gives a nice smooth shave.  The blades don't get clogged with hair, even when I use Shaving Oil.

My "TORQ" review....
« Reply #11 on: May 14, 2010, 07:42:30 PM »
While walking around in K-Mart yesterday, I came across the display of a new razor called "TORQ".

Package Description:

- SIX (6) blade shaving system
- Fusion/Mach style look and feel
- Back of package boasts of a clean, E-X-X-XTREMELY CLOSE, comfortable shave
- Comfortable, stylish rubber-grip handle
- Pivoting head
- REASONABLY PRICED - (3 pack for about $7.99)

I was very skeptical, to say the least when, I first came across this display in my local K-Mart, especially when I read on the back of the label that they were manufactured in Korea specifically for the K-Mart- corporation..."

I immediately envisioned an enormous amount of nicks, cuts, and scalp craters, with my loss of blood greater than that of oil spill in the BP Oil Disaster here in the Gulf of Mexico.  :*))

I dunno... something about the words "razors" and "specifically marketed for the Kmart brand label" just doesn't sound like it's something you want close to your scalp... it just doesn't sound right... like ice in milk...(yeesh) :o

But my curiosity got the best of me and I headed for the nearest register anyway, with razors in hand.

Got home, helped the kids with their homework, watched a little tv with the "Asian princess" (My wife Christine), and then it was "My ME TIME"!!!

(11:30 pm Thursday night) - Headed to the shower with new razor in one hand, and Head Slick in the other...

Gotta' tell you guys....

I was EXTREMELY impressed with my "TORQ" shaving experience..  O0
MUCH MORE IMPRESSED than with my recent purchase/experience with the new Gillette Hydra series.

Here is is 8pm the next night of the shave and my head is still somewhat smooth (nowhere near the amount of stubble factor that I usually have by this time of night).

For what my opinion is worth, I think most of you would like BOTH the shaving experience and the long lasting results this razor has to offer.

I hope this razors sticks around for a while. I will definitely re-buy.
