Going Sly – My most interesting haicut ever…

About eight years ago I had to visit my neighbouring country South Africa. To make things short I met a bunch of black guys and we became pretty good friends. Most of these had all their heads shaved. Something I wanted to do for ages. At the time I never had hairloss problems. Was 26 at the time. Anyway, they invited me to their ‘barber’. Now, these guys are very poor as is most South Africans. So I bought a Minora blade from the guy. I sit on a drum and he just took shampoo without any water and massage it into my scalp.
Then he took the blade. Just the blade… And start from my front to the back. It took him maybe 2 minutes and I was as sly as if I used a Mach 3. No cuts or nicks. Needless to say, I was very impressed.
Since then I kept it sly. I mean why interfere with the work of a artist…?

Very interesting! Welcome Clute. Great story--I am sure I would have been very nervous about this sort of haircut!

That is an awesome story. I want to experience having my head shaved while sitting on a drum. (I may try that tonight.) Too cool.

That is one good story, one that I wouldn't mind experiencing for myself. Welcome to SBG!
