It is that time again and I'm curious.

I'm not sure Randy can take what Tim is about to dish out standing up.  Having said that, if randy can ground and pound, Tim has a tenancy to get winded and lazy and his inability to finis could hurt him.  Randy needs not to get caught with one of Tim's big right hands. If that happens, it's all over!

That is one of the main reasons why I dislike Tim so much because he get so lazy.  But when it comes down to it he can deliver.

Most of Tim's fights are boring. Don't get me wrong, he has good technique- most of his apponents have trouble getting to him. When it comes down to it though I think the guy could take a beating and still stay up. I don't see Tim loosing, but man would I love to see it.

Tim Fights to win doesn't put anything on the line, and doesn't try to finish the fights with anything more than a decision.
I hope that UFC is sticking Randy in with Tim because Tim is doing what Tito did, and they think Randy can get the belt from him.

In some :-\ ways Tim was just lucky that there wasn't a stopage. Randy just cleaned house with Tim's head.

I thought it was pretty weak that he used the old "existing injury" excuse in the post-fight interview with Rogan.  In the press conference afterwards Dana White said obviously Tim has an image problem and that didn't help at all.  Then Matt Hughes got up and said that Tim asked him to speak on is behalf, and Matt continued on to say that Tim had a back injury that almost caused him to pull out of the fight.  I asked him to elaborate on the extent of the injury, but he said he did not know exacly what the injury was.  Pretty weak if you ask me.

Yeah that was very weak and I noticed today I was unable to find any post fight footage of Tim other than what was live in the Octagon.

I miss the days when the UFC was new, don;t get me wrong, I love the progression of the sport, but it just isn't like the old days when almost anything but fishhooking went. But, more guys get less injuries in the ring now, which I am all for. Great stuff...   O0

I agree.  I like the first few UFC with the only rules no groin shots, no biting, no gouging.  But like you said it keep the fighter safe.  I think some rules have become carried away.
