Hello All,

Here is a thought. I was in the city (Melbourne, Oz) this afternoon walking around and it struck me that so many guys who are loosing their hair simply look like Crusty the Clown. Perhaps because I have been on this subject of late, that I am aware of it, but so many guys have what amounts to long thin hairs growing from a waste land of scalp. It is no wonder that people looking at this prospect fear and dread going bald.

In contrast, & I am not stating anything new in this forum but when a bloke does something about it and tidies up what was once left of his hair, it all does not seem so bad after all. A guy who recognises the  problem and goes sly, looks good is in a much better place.. me thinks!

I think most have noted that.  I have an almost irresistable urge to tell them, "It's dead, bury it!"   But I don't.  I have asked guys I know pretty well, and at least two of them have told me, "I want to keep what I have left."      They're just ignoring the facts in my opinion.  But in the final analysis, it is what the guy wants, isn't it?  There are a couple of guys at the gym who buzz tightly, even w/o a guard, but don't shave.  So, if that what floats their boat, it's okay w/ me. 
But I agree, so many of these guys could just brush it up, spray it orange-red and do a Bozo the Clown act--yet if they like it, that's fine.  It's not for me and never will be.  Hopefully, they'll change.
But I have also noticed, younger guys seem to buzz their horseshoes, while older guys, the 50+ crew, who don't shave, keep it longer.  That' really weird, and maybe it shows the younger guys are going to do the full monty at some point.  I know they'll like it--we set such a good example, don't we .

"KEEPING WHAT I HAVE LEFT" LOL   that sounds about like an old pair of underwear or something.  So many damn holes in them that all that is left is the waist band...but they are still undewear lol
