herronm and hookem, i hate you guys.
haha just kidding. but for real, you guys suck. i (think) i would give my right manly-bit to see either one of those guys play live. honestly, sometimes i think i was born in the wrong time period.
You guys were lucky!
I do consider myself lucky. I got to see Cream, Janis, Led Zepplin, The Eagles as an opening act for Jethro Tull, Chicago opened for Hendrix..... I can go on and on. Great times and even better memories.
Ha, ha . . . Us forties and fifties geezers rule! We got to see the Rolling Stones before they were 70-something.

Who are the Rolling Stones? Is that like Bob Dylan or something you old man?

Saw Coldplay a few weeks ago. By far the best show I have ever been to.
WENDY O >>> PLASMATICS <<< .. NEW YORK CITY .. I even grabbed this huge poster from the streets on the way home............yee-haa..she knew how too put on one hellofa show........
Took my boys to see The Who a few years ago at the Casino here in CT. Zack Starky was the drummer and he did a great job even if he isn't Keith Moon. As old as they are they rocked me to my soul.
Tomorrow night I take the boys to the first concert at Citi Field in NYC (Home Of The Mets) to see Paul McCartney. I was 8 when the Beatles played in Shea Stadium and wasn't allowed to go so this is very exciting to me.
Best concert for me would be a tie between Willie Nelson's Pre-4th of July Picnic (Ray Price came on stage right before him as a surprise... AWESOME) and George Jones. Both were birthday presents for my dad from my brother and I. George Jones was this year... Willie Nelson was about 3 or 4 years ago.

Wow amazing stuff. I was just listening to The Eagles and Zepplin. Jethro Tull is a name less heard of in the age group where I'm from and its a shame.
I've only been to 3 in the last 2 years. Killswitch Engage and KoRn who are completely different to those that you've mentioned but also legends in their own fields.

I also saw Vast who had an up coming punk band just before them who were alright but after the third song seemed that they only consisted of the exactly same sound and lyrical themes and was hard to discern between songs when they would link one into the other. Just seemed like one long and tiring song. I didn't stay long at that gig though which is a shame because I love the acoustics in that place. But I was tired and a long way from home. In fact a 2 hour train journey and 2 tubes (or was it 3... can't remember)
