I actually prefer a shaving oil.

I've actually used Rite Aid label gel; (it's the equivalent to Edge shaving gel, but much cheaper than the name brand).

I've never heard of shaving oil before.  Do you get it in the local drug store?

I really like King of Shaves products, however sometimes I just buy cheaper products and they all seem to work fine. I am a believer that the razor is what really gets the best outcome. I do though prefer gel over shaving cream.

Most likely about anywhere you get shaving supplies, maybe not the grocery store.
Rite Aid, CVS, Bed Bath & Beyond, even Walmart (Shave Secret).

It come in VERY small bottles, it would be easy to overlook.

The other 3 I have tried:
Pacific All Natural
King of Shave (KOS), Alpha Oil and also Silicon

I am still deciding which of these I like best.
At this time it seems Pacific and KOS Alpha Oil

Hey Dan, I've watched that vid a few times. Do you do it just like that? Do you use glycerin?
Where do you get the glycerin if  you do use it?

TIA

I use the all three ingredients, you can use any non can compressed cream, any quality shave soap and glycerin I got the glycerin at rite-aid, although I'm pretty sure any grocery store or wal-mart will have it too.
I myself don't have a scuttle, I just put some cream and glycerin in a pre-heated bowl(heated using a sink of hot water.to rinse and soak it in) After its been warmed up while I shower I simply just mix up the lather and try and keep it in the sink of hot water to keep the lather and brush warm while I shave. Because your loading the brush and using cream you don't need a whole lot of either, but I tend to load the brush rather heavy so I make sure I'm not short, just a nickel size drop of cream is all you really need, so I'm sure the headslick you use will be just fine. As for the amount of glycerin just a good squirt or drop or so (depedning on the bottle it comes in)

TIA

hope this helps and if you've got any confusion or questions, please feel free to ask :)
Its good to be bald my friends :)
