If I had MPB as a reason, I'm sure she'd be more supportive. We've been together for 18 years and she is just so used to having the curls to play with. She'll get used to it and maybe get to like it, but I am not banking on it.
When I first got back with the new headstyle, she had a look of shock and alarm. Later I went out for some errands and when I returned laden with shopping bags, she had a moment of fear, thinking some scary strange man had broken in.
She was partly right!
