I saw that clip on GMA this morning, and d_mn near spit a mouthful of coffee all over the family room.  They didn't show the final result either--can't wait to see that.  Colbert is one funny guy, he had a business suit made in camouflage print material and wore it on arrival.  Earlier he had gone through "basic" but he really had fun w/ that too.  We try to never miss that show--and the shows from this trip promise to be a howl.

The general who did the buzzing has a nice shiny dome.  How short did Colbert get buzzed?  I can't find any photos or video of the finished product.

Razor, I read somewhere that his "shave" was being referred to as a "crewcut"   So it sounds like he didn't go truly sly.   What did impress me about the interview was his charitable set up for schools and kids of military families.   One worthwhile charity there.

That's what I expected.  I was just wondering how short they went.  Hopefully not something lame like a #4 blade (yes, there are people who will refer to that as shaved.   :/O ).

Cool.   O0

You really think now he'll shave his head bald...I think he can't wait to grow it back...I'm not saying that's what he should do...I was just sayin' it wasn't shaved in the first place..

a buzz or even buzzedbald has NEVER been "bald" in my book...and that is MY perception after 15 years shaved smooth when i could have had a full head of hair...

so I think I will always know the meaning of SLY or bald!

Mine either.  I've got a very "all or nothing" view of this.   :)

Come on, relax--it's where you can start the journey, buzz is better than combover, and from the buzz our experience on this site shows most wind up Sly.  But you knew that O:O. An BA, maybe you'll come back one day too!

I agree.  Didn't mean to diss the buzzcut.  All I meant was that it isn't "shaved" unless you finish it off with a blade.  Remember that "sly" is all about attitude and isn't reserved exclusively for those who are shaved smooth.   ;)

He's got that weird mismatched ear thing going on.  Probably in his best interest to keep some hair on his head.
