New recruit?
«

Hey Fellas,
I've been lurking on this site for a week or so and have been very impressed with this forum.
Recently, I had some people tell me in no uncertain terms that my MPB is rapidly picking up steam. I hadn't really noticed I guess (probably repression on my part).
Anyways, I'm wondering if this might be the time to get sly....any opinions? Like many others I wonder what my head shape will look like but thought I'd post some pre-op pics if u guys want to take a peek.
Thx
Chuck

You'll be fine. You already have a good idea from the pics. (don't have much left anyway). I say go for it!

Yeah, true enough. It's just the scalp behind that curtain on the back of my head I'm wondering about...I'm sure it'll be fine. About 14 years ago, I recall having a high & tight in the Army, and after a night of bar hopping, a buddy and I decided to go sly. I can't remember my reaction as I stared into the mirror the next morning after the alcohol wore off, but I'm pretty sure I was ok with it. The Army however was NOT. LOL. Almost got into a little trouble for that shenanigan.

Your hair loss is the 'picture perfect' example of hair that no longer serves a purpose... what's the point? It's time to go for it. I'm not sure how old you are, but I guarantee you look much older than your age. You'll be amazed at the youthful transformation. Welcome to the site, and let us know if we can help.

I would have guessed 46/47, so I just proved myself. I think most guys lose about 10 years off their look when they shave, so guess what... you're 24. Voila!!!

Alright guys,
The deed is done!!! Man, I could feel my adrenalin kicking in while I was shavin'. Took a couple deep breaths and just had to slow myself down and take my time.
Didn't realize my ears were quite so big, but I'm diggin' this!!!
Now I just need to get some sunshine on my noggin (not too much I hope).
There was quite a bid of redness when I was finished...witch hazel is supposed to help with that then?
Here's what I did:
-Used clippers to cut it all down to stubble
-Jumped in shower for 5 min under hot water
-Lathered up my head with some Gillette shaving gel
-Ran a Mach 3 front to back and then back to front (this took a few runs as I was missing some big patches)
-Soaked with cold water for as long as I could stand it (maybe 20 secs)
-Used some aftershave balm (aloe, eucyaluptus, peppermint)
And that was it...should I include witch hazel in the future before putting on the balm?

Welcome to the group. This is a great site with fantastic advice and support. The brothers here are a great bunch of guys!!
After my cold water rinse, I use witch hazel then aloe vera gel.
