DogStar Guy:
I have not had a nick since I started using oil only as the shaving material.
Plus the closest shaves yet. As close or closer than oil with later!

I can't explain it...

GaryT:
Sorry for the for the off topic here. But I have to ask DogStar Guy, what are you using for oil?

Hi GaryT

I will make a separate post later and just call it
OILS
in the head shaving thread.

Gotta run~~~

Paul:
I still get the rare nick especially over an unseen bug bite.  I recently discovered that applying the styptic pencil immediately to the cut, even though I am not done shaving, seems to stop the bleeding instantly with no residual.  I can even touch up the area, do my cold water rinse and not start the nick bleeding again. Don't know the science behind it, but it sure works for me.
