Getting Cut

I agree, the styptic pencil is a great thing. I nicked myself this morning in the back, just where my head and neck meet. It felt bad, but I instantly grabbed my styptic pencil, and handled the bleeding. I then applied some vasaline to temporarily protect the cut. I recommend neosporin too. I have to grab some next time I am at the pharmacy.

You say you're using a Fusion. Are your nicks from the trimming blade or from the shaving blades? That trimming blade is a little tricky and although useful around the ears, care must be used.
Not to "rub it in" but I've never had any serious cut or slice w/ my Fusion, one or two small zits caused minor bleeding, but nothing that lasted or even required the stiptic. I have to ask, are you being careful to draw the blade in line with the handle, and not moving it side to side in any fashion, like when you move from one area to the other without lifting it off the scalp?
You're the first I've known to have had any trouble w/ the Fusion. A lot of guys like the Mach III, and then there are the HB guys but even they admit that is an instrument that requires some practice.
Don't get discouraged. Your technique will improve, the feeling of a baby butt smooth dome is a great reward for a good shave. You will get there, trust us.

Thanks guys you have all been a big help. I love the sly look and hope to keep it for a long time. I haven't shaved for almost a week because of where i nicked myself but i've been letting it heal for a little bit. i can't wait to make it smooth again. I have actually had some second thoughts about shaving it again. I saw a guy in Target today he had a nice tapered cut, I thought to myself i'd like to get that kind of cut, let it grow a bit, but then i thought how much i enjoy being smooth and I love how it looks on me, I've gotten quite a few compliments on it. So I'm definatly going to keep it. Do any of you sly guys ever have second thoughts about growing it back, especially when you see another guy with a good looking haircut?

QUICK reply for now.
I seem to prefer Pacific(a?) All Natural.
To date I have used 4 name brands (they all work) this is the one I most prefer.
Will reply more, later in reviews.

Can't if I wanted to, what's left shouldn't be shown as a grown out display. An no, I don't have second thoughts, that kind of went away as I found and accepted myself as a bald guy who shaved the remnants as the best way to deal with it.
