Product Question
« on: May 24, 2009, 10:24:36 AM »
I'm looking for something that will help me put shine on the old dome. This is funny - when I went sly a week ago I couldn't figure out why you guys were trying to get shiny - got it - looks cool

Here's the problem - I cannot find  the  products which are the ususal suspects where I live - Just Headblade Matte and NOTHING else - next trip into the U.S. I guess I will stock up but in the meantime is there any more generic prodcut anyone could suggest?

My head is naturally oily so I don't have to worry about finding products for this.  But like Paul said, Aloe Vera works great.

What paulie said.  The aloe vera gives a great shine and you can't beat the price.

aloe vera worked great - great shine and it seems to help with irritation for me - and you just can't beat the price

One tip for anyone trying this one -

Do not shave - apply aloe vera and then go for an intense workout -

I shaved and then went to a kickboxing class within the hour - shiny spots on mats and aloe vera in the eyes - not good

Maybe a headband.. :D

Also, try putting a sunscreen lotion on your head.  They usually provide great shine and protection.

I agree with Tyler, sunscreen works great.  I use coppertone sport, with SPF30 when I am going out on a hot day or to the gym.  They label it as "ultra sweatproof".  It provides a nice shine, and your protected all day long.  Plus, it won't run into your eyes.  But I also recommend Headblade Glossy...to date I have had no problems with it either.
