I like metal, rock and just about every variation of the two. I like listening to classic rock when I am out in the garage or BBQ'n (I don't know why). I like the sound of bluegrass (couldn't tell you the name of one band though) and I think I am STARTING to like country.
Personally, I listen to more talk radio than anything else. Color me BORING.

o god.....all the hatred towards raps killing me lol. im a rap guru, and used to be in a rap group. (yes a whiteboy can do that lol) you guys just cant listen to all the shitty rap on the radio. you need to open up to the real stuff.listen to underground, and independent rap. thats the real poetry. not that bubblegum club stuff.
if i could recommend any rapper for you guys to check out i recommend listening to "Atmosphere". hes from minneapolis, minnesota and hes amazing. i wouldnt be able to get through the day without listening to him.

Outlaw Country and Southern Rock......(Going to see David Allen Coe next week at the House of Blues during the Harley Davison Rally here) As for rap, I can tolerate Kid Rock and country rapper Colt Ford...but thats about it.

Yea man Obituary is another great band, one of the classics of death metal. A couple of those bands I had listed were formed in either 2000 or later, the rest in the early 90's. If you happen to still enjoy brutal, technical death metal, Origin and Fleshgod Apocalypse are probably the best I've ever heard. You can never go wrong with In Flames, they make truly great, melodic music. Well, their old stuff at least.
