Hi Guys,
Been really lazy lately and have let my hair grow out to a little longer than a #2 buzzcut. I have a job interview on Tuesday at a TV station in a mid-sized city. Not sure if I should have the shaved head at the interview or not. Definitely plan on having it shaved at work if I get the job, but just not sure if shaved is too off-putting for an interview. Anybody have any thoughts/suggestions/opinions?
Greg

Honestly, we may not be the best group to ask because of our preference for Sly.
But as someone who hires many an employee, Id rather see the sly, I think it shows discipline.

I don't think it will make much difference bro....but it would be easier to give an opinion if you had a pic of you with the #2 buzz.....

What if you were naturally bald? Would you go out and buy a wig to cover it up and then show up at work without it? I think in todays world it would be more acceptable. Go for it....I would.

Well, the best one to ask would be someone like Jim Cantore!

It may be best to go in Sly... then not freak people out afterwards! Lol! I really don't think people care. But if you are going to do it... do it now so that you can get some color back in, let the rash (if any) heal up, etc. Use that Witch Hazel!

You look good either way. But sly certainly makes a statement about confidence. Can you back that up in your interview? If so, go sly.
Works for me.

I agree with BB, you look good either way and if you have the confidence and feel secure in going sly than go for it !!

If you're planning on shaving anyway after you get the job, then start as you mean to continue.

Greg, you actually solved this dilemma when you said that you plan to headshave if you get the job. My advice to you would be that you should walk in with your clean shaven head held up high and you'll ace the interview.
Good Luck SLY bro

I agree with Rafter and the rest of the guys. Sly+Confidence will win the day every time. Don't be obnoxious about it but walk in like you own the place.

Go SLY...... they'll know that you're confident enough to shave your head so you'll be confident in your new job.
