Newly Sly In MICHIGAN
« on: June 08, 2008, 08:01:31 PM »
Hey Guyz!
I just wanted to introduce myself to you all. My name is Jon and I live in Michigan. I shave my head last year for a few days with the Headblade and hacked myself up do much that I decided to quit. I have been sly for 2 weeks now and I am commiteed! My family hates it and thinks I am stupid and my wife is just "dealing" with it.

Welcome, Jon.  I'll bet that once you started growing your hair back last year, you were sorry you didn't stick with it.  I shaved a few times and didn't stick with it and that's exactly how I felt.   Just hang in there with the criticisms from the family.  They'll get used to it and eventually will stop hounding you about it.  It may take a while, but it will happen.  If my family gave up, anybody's will.    ;D

Post a photo when you get a chance so we can put a face and a dome with the name.

Welcome, Jon. Glad to have you back with us.  I hope we can help you stick with it.  You have to follow-your instincts and do what you know you have to do.  If you stick it out, it will be worth it.

Best of luck,
Rick

John, welcome to Sly Bald Guys!

Welcome Jon...glad you found us and you decided to take the slick lane again.   Nothign better than that smoooooooooooooth feeling right after you shave.  Ehhh the comments will stop...well they will stop being so consistant....but you will get one every now and then.  I have been slick now for a year and I still get the occasional..WHY?  CAUSE I CAN I SAY!   lol

Welcome Jon, hang in there.  If you enjoy being sly that's the thing that really matters.
