Hey guys, i bought ****insons witch hazel and ****insons witch hazel pads with aloe. Like most witch hazel they contain small amounts of alcohol. I was wondering if they are fine to use or am i much better with thayers due to the alcohol free or will that small of an amount not matter?

I'm guessing that the alcohol is there to help it dry quicker.  I wouldn't think it's an issue...

Alcohol is a natural byproduct of the production of Witch Hazel, I think D'ins have about 13%. It doesnt have any effect on the scalp. Witch Hazel IMHO is the best product out there to combat irritation and razor burn after a headshave.

It has been a valuable tool in my headshaving arsenal since I first started shaving my head.

I buy the plain old Witch Hazel.  About $1.50 at Wal-Mart.  I recommend it highly.

I used to use witch hazel and tea tree cream. It started giving me acne so I stopped. Since then I've been using plain old aftershave as soon as I have washed my head. Seems to do the trick. No more acne.
