Incessant Talkers

Have you ever encountered somebody who just dosen't shut up? I know a few people like this.I find this to be more common with women than men and it's very unsettling. You feel like you're being held hostage until they finish and they won't let you get a word in edgewise. Sometimes they talk for hours and I go into a trance and then sometimes I feel that I can't keep my eyes open and I don't want to fall asleep in front of them because that would be embarrassing and rude. Also I've noticed on some occasions that when a person don't stop talking sometimes I get nauseous and feel like I'm gonna throw up.I never realized that could happen.
Sometimes if they talk alot I get ravenous only because they talked past my snack time.LOL. I remember at work once this woman came to my desk and started chatting so long I actually was hypnotized and dozed off a couple of minutes, and the amazing thing was that when I awoke she was still talking as if she didn't notice.
I'm not the kind of person to tell them to stop or cut them short for fear of hurting their feelings because of my damm Catholic guilt, but enough is enough.Don't they realize they are being rude by taking up so much of your time and possibly holding up your dinner!

Broke up with a former girlfriend this summer for that very reason. Amazing how someone can talk incessantly and never take a breath.

I think everyone has encountered someone like that a time or two in life. I have on particular woman, who comes up to my desk (i am in a centralized control desk, so everyone is up here for something) and just goes on and on. She'll sometimes pick up a conversation from 4 days ago, right where she left off. Her neice used to work here, and said that if i started coughing a lot when she was up here, that she'd go away. Never worked. I think the girl secretly hated me.

It's called circular breathing......horn players do this so they can hold out notes for extended lengths of time

Blah blah blah....ya know what really gripes my ass.....is when you are typing out a post and no one responds then I have to come back in here and make sure that my post was indeed posted. Man it is nice out side today the sun is shining and the birds are churping....spring is just around the corner. Man my feet hurt today. Must be from all taht standing at the ball game..jumping up and down. In church today people were clapping to the music and I was like man my hands hurt too from all the clappnig at the game last night. Oh by the way we did win the regional game last night ...it was awesomely sweet. So what did everyone do this weekend? OH and guess what....this is a true story....while sitting in church this morning there was this chick sitting behind us and she was with four other young men. These men looked liek rockers or something ....well come to find out they were from the music group called Illuminate. The girl was the lead singers gilfriend and she just so happened to be Hannah Montana ( Miley Cyrus) sister. I will post pictures later of my youngest daughter Annie standing with her. It was pretty cool.....OH man you know what I just realized.....i have been rambling again.....crap...oh well...guess I will move on to the next victim.....

Timmay that is a brilliant way to get out of a boring conversation!

I have a friend, and I love her to death, but she is known for talking and talking and talking. I have perfected over the years to be able to listen to her and seem like I am giving her my attention but I am able to tune her out and do other things.

The guy in the cube next to me at work is one of these people. Say good morning and he talks for 30 minutes. When he gets on my nerves I just look at him in a very bored way and say ," Dude, your time is up".

I would actually rather bang my head off of a wall for an hour or chew broken glass but since I've already read this post it looks like I got it worse. J/K bro. Hope you didn't take no offense.
