That is the next pair I wanna buy is some of those Black Ostich ropers.

Well, I didn't get my handle because I wear sandals!

Mostly I wear motorcycle boots, but I do have a few pairs of ropers. I'm not a big fan of pointy toes and riding heels, so ropers -- with their sensible rounded toes and lower heels -- suit me just fine.

I haven't worn my cowboy boots in years. My elkskins need new heels and soles and I just can't find anyone to do it.

All this talk of ropers makes me want to go out and get a pair.

The result of a collaberation between the Justin Boot Co. and the professional calf ropers of the PRCA, hence the name Ropers.

Never owned a pair of cowboy boots, but i'm tempted to find me a pair of these Ropers.  They sound pretty comfortable.

I think everybody should own at least one pair of real, authentic cowboy boots; especially folks in the warmer, humid climates! ::)  You know, the pointy toed boots with the tall heels.  They are great for squishing the cockroaches in the corners of the rooms!! ;D ;D  :x! :x! :x!

Dude I never owned boots either, but Justin Ropers are like wearing slippers! So nice! They look great with pretty much anything too!

Where would someone find a pair of Ropers?  I'm guessing any standard western store?  And how much to the run, price-wise?

I just bought some a couple months ago at a western store, with the insoles and the special lotion for the boots it was like $120

Boots Are Made for Walking......The Dukes of Hazzard Yes, it was my idea to see this.

As America’s most beloved cinematic hickstorian, I felt it was my duty. (In my defense, I waited for the DVD.) When you aim this low and still miss the target, you have made a crappy movie indeed. At least the DVD came with that dirty, dirty Jessica Simpson video for “These Boots Are Made for Walking.”

Three pairs of Justins. Kinda standard issue in these parts (although I don't wear them every day)

One pair (brown ropers) is totally beat up but comfortable as slippers. Can't ditch 'em yet. Perfect yard and mud boot.

One pair is a Justin traditional western boot (#1408) dark brown smooth calfskin with a J toe. Hold a great shine, good for dress boots.

And just bought a pair of Justin George Strait 3.1 chestnut boots that have like a tennis shoe insert in them. Bought them on a lunch hour and was tempted to wear them back to the office in my suit they're so comfortable. I treated myself to these as a reward for reaching my 90-day SLY anniversary.

If you aren't near a western or work wear store, try E-bay or a place called Shepler's...online at www.sheplers.com they have retail stores in various states.
