I love to golf.

Up untill recently I played golf with my dad every sunday, this was for about 8 years or so. Many times it was after a sat night gig that resulted in a 3am bedtime only to find myself on the first tee at 7AM...

I carry about a 12 handicap... so I am not very good but I just love a good walk in the park... spoiled.

I went to the AT&T Pro-Am at Pebble Beach every year for about 5 years too and that is about the extent of watching golf unless I am sitting in a pub where it is on.

I also love golf. I'm not that great but like most golfers I have my moments. i haven't played since early November when I broke my wrist (and yeah I did it golfing). I'm going to try to get out this weekend in the cold.

I have a trip to Myrtle beach, SC at the end of March. I have seven golfers going including myself. if any of you east coasters (or any of you golfers for that matter) might like to join us PM me. I have one opening.

Love golf. Come from a golfing family (Dad was approached by the Wilson Golf Co. to turn pro back in the 60's, he passed, youngest brother was an All American Hon. Mention at UNLV).
Try and play at least once a week, currently a 4.1 handicap.
Have my first round match at our home course in 3 hrs.
Think good thoughts, my SBG homies!  O0

I'd kill for a 12 handicap...

Needless to say, I love to play golf (even though I suck)...  My drive has been somewhat fixed, but my short game sucks some serious ass!

I try to get out about twice/thrice a month during the non-bittercold months!

And this ad was at the bottom of the page... I think I need a caddie!

I wouldn't mind a caddy like that but my wife would ban me from ever playing again........ 8)

I'm a hacker but hope to get back into it.  Fell in love with the game going to practice rounds in Augusta ... and further honed a love when I saw the Old Course at St. Andrews.  (I hear, Casey, that Ireland has some pretty legendary courses, too.)

UPDATE:
My partner & I lost on the 19th hole. I putted like a d**k and my partner (a 3 handicap) shot an 88!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I shot an 80 (a few shots above my index), but it just wasn't enough.

All in all, a very frustrating day. Our opponents (both good buddies of mine), were shocked that they beat us. I putted like Happy Gilmore.
Trying to drown my sorrows in some beer.

LOL, right back at ya. Although, you needed the 3 dots to indicate the fact that certain words were removed from the quote.

Love the game. My dad got my brother an I into it when we were young children. My dad is an absolute fanatic and an incredible golfer. I don't get around to playing as much as I would like due to work and family commitments. Looking forward to this season..if only the snow would melt.
