It will be BYOB and I may need a security deposit in case Tim brings the red and whites and things get ugly.

It seems Georgia and Illinois are equally represented by at least 5 regulars here on the forum.
Marz, I hear Seattle has a lot of rain.

Well, Kansas! Dorothy almost got it right, "It's not going to by Kansas anymore, Toto!"

Tim, while I see the irony of you residing in Indiana for your whole life and not attending one of the worlds most popular motor sport races, I do see why you havent attended.
Been no need eh? Do you find motor racing exciting? I suppose in life there are things that take precidence in that regards.

That's like my wife. She's lived in the SF Bay Area her whole life and has never been to Alcatraz.

I dont find it extremely exciting....but from what I have heard...its better to just watch it on TV just like I do....attending the actual event...is more of a party..get drunk...and see who can streak naked. You cant watch the race....the cars go to fast as they are comign around the track...so its all a blurr....I will just stick with the annual INDY500 cook out that we have here....we cook 500 hamburgers on the grill for the neighborhood....alot of fun. But you all are more than welcome to come to my place....pool should be up by then....and the beer flowing...

Funny you should mention living in a particular place and never attending an event in your state that's known throughout the world... I've lived in KY my whole life and I've never even been to Churchill Downs let alone the KY Derby.
