Choosing the right diet for your metabolic makeup
« on: January 03, 2008, 09:31:33 PM »
I've posted before about the diet plans that are customized for different metabolic types (fast, slow and balanced oxidizers) in Jillian Michaels' books. This video has a good explanation of how it works:

Thanks for sharing RazorX.  After watching that I went to Amazon and bought her book.

Glad you found it helpful, Andrew.  Let me know how you make out  with it.  I've noticed some improvement since I tweaked my diet to be more in line with her recommendations for a balanced oxidizer.   It's worked better for me than anything else so far.  The real test will be on Tuesday when I get my measurements taken at the gym.

Thanks bro, that might explain why I couldn't loose any weight on Atkins!  :(

I think I might just have to get that book too.  O0
