Hello!

• I just found this site today, after shaving my head for the first time last night. I am 52, and slowly balding on top for 15 years. I've been shaving my face with double edge safety razors and straight razors for about a year. I performed both my first and second (tonight) head shaves with my Feather DX straight razor. Looking forward to browsing the forum and getting to know you guys. If my avatar loaded correctly, it is a snap shot of myslef after my first head shave, last night.

  I started at shaving my head, just for fun, at 58.  Been bald ever since.  It's a keeper.  The guys here on the site offer good encouragement, tips, suggestions, and if you travel at all, you might find that you're having lunch or dinner with some of the guys from time to time.

• Thanks for the kind replies. Love the shaved look and feel. No negative reactions to it yet. A few "love it", and a few have been temporarily rendered speechless! I am going to shave the dome every day for a month, and then trim the beard.
