An old farmer made a trip to the city to buy supplies. One item his wife had requested he purchase for her was a new nightgown.
The farmer went into a department store and found the same long, plaid flannel style his wife had worn since they had married. He grabbed one in her size and made his way to the cashier.
As he waited to pay, he noticed the younger man in front of him was purchasing a very sexy, black lace negligee. The farmer looked down at high necked, long sleeved item he was about to buy, then stared at the short, lacy thing the clerk was ringing up. Feelings he had not experienced in a long time started stirring up in him.
When it was his turn, the farmer put the flannel nightgown on the counter and leaned in to speak quietly with the cashier.
"Say," he asked, "this doesn't happen to come in black, does it?"
