This summer, I rolled over in bed and smashed my head into the wall. It was like one of those old cartoons -- I had a big bump on my head for the rest of the day.

I'm 6'5" as well and I have the scars to prove it, but the hair did act like curb feelers.
It does seem worse now than before .

I bang my head all the time now. We got rid of the hair, it acted like curb feelers to warn us.

My grandparents have the evil arch way in thier house, every single person has clunked thier head on it at least twice in the 60 years that they have lived there. I hold the record and stopped counting years ago...I'm talking double digits.

Same here, nomad. I am banging my head all the time now, it seems, and not in the good Quiet Riot sort of way, lol.
I hit my head getting in and out of the car, on my dresser, on the end of the vanity when I'm putting my shaving stuff away. Got a good one last month on the towel bar, ouch!. I guess when the hair was there it would help sense as you got closer to an object.

I have a half bath upstairs in my home, and the ceiling is slanted, and has a stucko-type texture to it. If i get too close to one side, WHAM! Happens all the time.

Nah, I used to lick the top of the Comet cans when I was a kid.
