No, Mr. Zed, been a little sick :) Just got over a cold I caught on Tuesday. @Razor X-Actually it was DAD that didn't care for the bald head...My mom always was a fan of short haircuts and bald heads....My brother wears dreadlocks and she dislikes it, but he's an adult, so....

Thanks everyone! I do have a few days growth, so I will put it to use after church!

Hi Harry:  That is a thoughtful gift from your mom.  Enjoy it in good health my friend.  Be sure to include your SOTD pic in the Safety Razor Section of the Forum.  FYI. . . I encourage all my SBG brothers who are using safety razors to participate in that section with pics that includes.  You know who you are.  I don't want to be the only one to participate.  I need your help.

Excellent gift! I gifted myself my first DE this week. I have shaved twice and LOVE it!! I will never go back to disposable razors again. I just need to get all the right soaps and aftershaves and such.

Used it today for the first time after church....The cleanup brush that came with it is a nice touch! I need to order some more shaving soap, however, but the HeadSlick did the job today.

That's an awesome gift!!  Kudos to your mom for knowing what you'd like.

Thanks again! Rock Hiker, it's a Weishi 9306-C. I saw the exact same razor on Amazon, so it's possible that my mom may have bought it there....I think you can get it for somewhere between $20-30. It came with two five-packs of blades, as well as the cleaning brush. You can check out the packaging and the contents above. It's made in China and it's similar to the Edwin Jagger with an opening like the Microtouch.

Nice.
BTW the microTouch One is a Weishi clone. I haven't picked up a Weishi yet, but I imagine the shave is identical.
