You are a brave man, Mr. Jules. So what is the process, is it done by inserting larger sized Jewelery? If so, could you do that yourself? Is it as painful as getting the initial piercing?

I could have done this myself, but opted to have a piecer do it for me. For each nipple in turn, first she numbed the nipple with a freezing agent. Then inserted a tapered pin to stretch the nipple. This was painful and required some slow breathing exercises, as the pin was inserted. Then when she thought she's stretched it up enough, she removed the tapering pin and pushed through the larger jewellery. And it was done !!

For gauge sizes, being that I'm from the UK, I always quote European sizes. Was pierced at 1.6 mm and then increased to 2.4 mm. The new rings feel thicker and have more weight. And I can tell the difference.

Thank you, Mike. Really like the septum / moustache combo. When I'm at work, I flip the septum jewellery up inside my nose. No one can see it !

Was the stretching as painful as the initial piercing?
Septum stretching was uncomfortable but not painful. The piercer was good and stretched gradually. Same piercer also pierced the nose to begin with and used a numbing spray. Scarcely felt a thing.
