I'm obsessed with the ISS and follow the astronauhts on twitter.

For the past 5 months Luca Parmitano has been on the ISS. He was greeted by another astronaught Chris Cassidy who shaved his hair off to greet Luca. It also confused those watching from Earth cos at points they couldn't tell Chris and Luca apart.

Here's the shaving head in space video
Here's Luca "washing" his hair following a similar video from Karen Nyberg

Luca's tweets and pics have been fascinating. he also nearly drowned on his first spacewalk!

In 2014 Alexander Gerst joins the ISS crew, if you check google images and twitter you'll see Alexander in various stages of hair loss and he's now sly. I think for anyone with hair loss contemplating shaving their head, the improvement in Alexander's looks should be something to go by.

Slyness aside I highly recommend all the videos the ISS crew film. Very interesting stuff

I remember seeing that shaving clip a while ago and marveling that he only cleaned the razor's blade twice during the shave.

Those are pretty cool videos.

Great post, Slyest!  I couldn't agree more.  Alexander's before and after pics are definitely a great example of "geeky balding" to "studly sly"   What a transformation.

Slyest - I did as you suggested and googled Alexander Gerst. Wow! What a transformation! He should be the poster boy for going sly. Anyone unsure of taking it all off needs to google these images of him!
