Greetings!
« on: November 07, 2013, 01:36:18 PM »
Greetings from the UK!

Well as you can see from my profile picture I've gone bald.

I bought a Headblade Sport on a recent trip to the USA which has worked just fine although I might change to the newer ATX as I find 'pushing' to shave rather than 'pulling' rather odd (does that make sense?).

I must say the look and the feel is quite liberating.

Can I ask any other UK members on the Forum what UK sourced blades you use that fit the Headblade Sport/ATX?  I am sure that there must be some in the Gillette/Wilkinson range but not sure which ones.

Thanks to all on the Forum that have shared their experiences and have given their encouragement.

Looking good.  Watch out for the Yorkshire winter but I find I like the cool air on my shaved head.  At last it is getting hot in Oz.

Welcome, Yorkshire Traveller!

I do understand what you mean about the odd feeling of "pushing" a blade across the skins verses "pulling" it.

I'm sure I could adjust to it, but haven't felt the need for it.

Good to have you join us.

Welcome, Yorkshire.

I agree. There is nothing like that smooth feeling.

Glad you are with us.

Welcome Yorkshire. Good to have you join SBG. I think you made a great choice in shaving, and also choosing to use the HeadBlade. I am not quite fond of the ATX though, and I prefer the Sport. I find it takes many more passes to get a smooth shave, compared to my Sport set up with a double blade cartridge. You may find it works differently, as each person has their own preference and circumstances as to which razor will work optimally for them. Good luck and keep it smooth. O0
