No, different companies and models.  There are also several types of blades from Feather and Kai and one from Dorco that I know of.

Makes sense. so the SE isn't like the DE with one less blade? I guess the guard and weight are different then?

@ smoothsailing:  What is your DE set up?  Razor?  Brush?  Soap or cream?  DE blade?
Also... how are your DE shaves going?

Been using a Merkur razor of some kind.  Think it's a 23 or 28c?  Not sure where to see on the razor ahhaha.  Been using a pure badger brush and a variety of baldes.

Shaves are great!  Irritation free and very decadent from the 1st shave!  I usually do 2 passes against the grain since my facial hair is pretty thin and doesn't require much shaving for perfectly smooth skin

Wooo Just had a GREAT shave!  First truly BBS head shave I've achieved yet.  Waited an extra day for growth, did an extra pass.  Very minor irritation and perfectly smooth skin!  ;D
