I have many, but here are a few of my favorites:

1. Fast Eddie Felson played by Paul Newman (The Hustler, 1961 and The Color of Money, 1986). My favorite line from my favorite movie (Hustler) ... "Money won is twice as sweet as money earned"
2. Roger Thornhill played by Cary Grant (North by Northwest, 1959)
3. Axel Foley played by Eddie Murphy (Beverly Hills Cop)
4. Roy Macavoy played by Kevin Costner (Tin Cup)
5. Ty Webb played by Chevy Chase (Caddyshack)
6. Tony Montana played by Al Pacino (Scarface)
7. The Hanson Brothers (Slapshot)
8. Brother Chet played by Bill Paxton (Wierd Science)

Agonizing over what cannot be is an insult to what is.

Great list Schro. It goes on and on starting with Rhett Butler in Gone With The Wind played by Clark Gable in 1939.
