Cutting, bleeding, etc.. Any tips?

Hey sly people,

If I'm in a hurry, and I need to shave my head. I'll always cut myself and bleed..
It even happens, when I'm trying to be careful.

It's kinda frustrating, since it makes shaving take so much effort.  
Plus, it's kinda ugly to have some bloody scars in your back!
I think the razors I'm using are kinda crappy too

What are you guys experiences with this issue?

Yes avoid touching or messing about unless you bleeding down your head and face 5minutes firm pressure with tissue . The other tip is apply a very small piece of tissue and leave it is a real bitch if your in a hurry and have gotta go to work . Or just as your going to bed . Dabbing and clontinuous cleaning a clot will never form

Jump in shower and bathe your head with warm water for 2 minutes.
Apply your shaving gel/soap
Shave with grain. (nice and gentle)
Rinse excess foam off.
Get in shower and soak head with cold water for 2 minutes.
Pat dry (not rub)
Apply a sensitive post shave balm.
Leave for 5 minutes.
Apply witch hazel. Leave for 2 minutes.
Apply aloe vera.

Follow that and you should have no cuts or razor burn/bumps etc.

Oh, and get yourself a DECENT razor, its probably the best thing you can do! Well worth the dollar for a good one and you will have a cut free smooth baldy head

Never shave in a hurry and always give yourself some time at the end to deal with potential cuts. I just let them bleed out a bit until they clot, then a bit of witch hazel gently applied with a cotton ball will dissolve away the blood on the surface without reopening the wound.

A blade is not a thing you can take as a joke.

Hey if it's a reoccurring problem you could try styptic pencil!

I've never tried but from what I've read it seems ok?

Ive a styptic pencil, which I believe to contain silver nitrate , did not work , not sure that chemicals really work in haemostasis , salt nacl seems to work but does not look good

First off, you are a very handsome guy.  I shave in the shower (with a fogless mirror) and I use Mach III razor and have for years.  Make sure that you don't use your razor past it's sharpness.  In the shower I warm head under hot water use head slick mentholated shave get, put on with shave brush.  Shave front to back and then the back of head rub for missed spots rinse and then I just use any kind of body lotion.  I have only cut myself once in the past 5 years.  Pretty good huh?  Good luck.

Another thing: Keep your scalp wet and lathered at all times...It's possible that you may have scraped an area that may have dried up. I lather one side at a time before shaving and I find the lather/wetness lasts longer. Just a suggestion...
