Not Sly Anymore
« on: January 20, 2012, 03:52:00 PM »
I have gotten lazy lately and have not shaved my head or face for 3 weeks.  There is a short buzz on my head and it continues on the face.  Everything is the same length and easy to care for.  Just set the beard trimmer at #2 and buzz everything.

Do miss my bald head.  Might have it again soon.

Once you have gone sly, you may stray once in a while but you always find your way back home to slydom.  :)

It's not far from 1/16 to sly.  I was there this past week.  Getting lots of good feedback on the bald look. Much more than I was expecting.   And not just from you guys. I'd expect it from you.

Today my head was buzzed to 1/32" an the full beard was trimmed to a goatee (Van Dyke).  Getting closer.

Way to go, Jimbo! You're on your way. Enjoy the 1/32 for some time, and when you are ready get the razor out.

I've had lots of positive feedback on my move from your state to sly.  More good comments today, and a number of people who really did not notice until someone else told them.  1/32 is good practice for sly.

What kind of machine are you, "buzzing" with, Jimbo?

I have been buzzing with my Norelco beard trimmer.  In the #1 position, it cuts down to 1/32".  That is pretty close and the head even shines, but it feels like sandpaper.

Yes, shaving take care of the sandpaper.  At 1/32 you're almost there. Time to shave.
