Can't speak on iproducts, but for android it works well. Most convenient when using my phone but IMHO, you can't beat the good 'ol browser...

I typically not a cheap person (by all means not rich either) I just hate paying for apps

One thing to note is that the iOS version is a universal app. So if you have multiple devices you can buy it once and install it on multiple devices.

Android apps are tied to your Google account... Which can be installed on different devices as well.

I just downloaded this for my android phone. I think I like the app better on the droid than iOS. Its cheaper on the droid to boot

Could the fact that the forum now supports Tapatalk be placed somewhere prominently? Like a button or something similar on the header section of this forum?

Good suggestion. When you try to login to the site with your mobile phone or tablet it actually pops up a window telling you that Tapatalk is available if you're using a browser.
I'll see where I can make it more noticeable for those accessing through a PC.
