Dough wondered about his beard/goatee, well, I have a similar question.
I have never had any facial hair ever, but it seemed to me that a lot of sly guys have some sort of facial hair.
So I'd thought I'd try it with a goatee.
I had it on for aobut 4 weeks, but didn't like it as I thought it made me look older, so shaved it of. Now it's gone, I'm again thinking that it maybe didn't look that bad after all.
So, as I can't make up my mind, I'd appreciate your advice.
Whatdayathing: should I let it grow again or go clealy sly all the way?
I go goat/no goat all the time.... is a quick n easy way to an appearance change LOL... gone in 60 seconds back in a few days...
In addition, the gray parts is what's bothering me. That's what I think makes me look older?
I think the goatee suits you. I don't think the grey makes you look older, but I do understand how you feel. It's something I struggle with all the time. It's just easier to reassure someone else than it is to reassure ourselves. I guess the question we need to ask ourselves is, "If it weren't for these grey hairs, would anyone really mistake me for a 25-year-old? "
Since it's bothering you, take it off. In your goatee pic you're looking really unhappy to me.
I like it. I would (and do) color it. Maybe not to perfectly eliminate all the grey but I think it looks good.
Goatee looks good with the white.
Of course it makes you look older but in a distinguished way.
I am 37 and my stubble beard is white like yours in the chin currently, and I like the look.
I would recommend against the coloring.
In the end, however, it is not what we think, but what makes you feel better and more comfortable.
