Winter

Both rain and snow are forecast today. I don't know about anyone else, but I hate when cold rain or snow hits my bald head.

A wool hat should do the trick. Just make sure you have a smooth scalp when you have to wear one. A short stubble is just annoying when trying to put a wool hat on or to take it off. We also have tough winters in Eastern Canada. I cover my head when I am outside but prefer to be bare headed inside. I also rarely wear a cap in the Summer (we'll probably have this discussion in a few months but a sun lotion will then be your best friend). Coming back to Winter, unless it is below 0C (32F) I don't wear a hat either. I like to feel the fresh air on my scalp.

Snow...  the concept is vaguely familiar...   O:O

Sorry, I don't really mean to gloat. But you can all make fun of me in August when it's 110 degrees down this way.

I've heard that there are places in the southwestern U.S., like parts of Arizona, where people don't go outside for the summer because it's so hot  :/O  So, why would someone want to live in an area where they don't get out for months at a time?  ???  I suppose that is why some people are transplants!? ;)

Guess I jinxed it!

Two unusual words in the Austin forecast: "measurable snowfall".

Only 1 to 2 inches expected tomorrow evening into Friday, but that's a big event for down here.

15ºF overnight, with a high of 26ºF today. Same tomorrow.
