IMO when people are in the habit of using coverups for things like gray hair or slyness that, when taken to extreme, causes me to question their forthrightness. If they can't be truthful about who they are how can they possibly be truthful in what they say?

There is nothing inherently deceitful about coloring one's hair, beard, or any other grooming technique. One could just as easily make the argument that guys who shave a full head of hair are trying to appear as something they are not, when in fact they are merely adopting a style that makes them feel more comfortable, confident, and at ease.
