If you leave from Halifax, you have to go to the long wharf in NY in order to get into the ocean.  I guess there's no ocean access at Halifax...   :/O 
PS.  why is line 23 "turn right at long wharf" funnier than line 24 "swim across Atlantic ocean"   :*))
