Very, very cool. I LOVE pin up girl artwork and photos...... so much so that I'm thinking that my next tattoo will be my wife but in pin-up girl style.
That is a great idea and I'm sure the misses would enjoy it too.
Nice.....what are you using to create those? Care to explain the technique a bit? Is it photographs and then computer enhanced or are these drawn?
My art is digital. I use Adobe Illustrator to create it.
It can be challenging because it is difficult to get blends and fades in illustrator. Illustrator was designed for more basic design work. Illustrator graphic art typically uses fewer colors and basic geometrical shapes.
This is typical Illustrator art

Using a program that was designed for that type of art in my application is a real challenge.
I have always loved pinup art and admire the greats from the 20s through the 40s.
George Petty

Gil Elvgren

and Alberto Vargas are my favorites.

There is a strong pinup, retro following in the West coast and in countries like France, Belgium, and Australia. The renewed interest has provided me with dozens of outstanding models to work with for reference in my illustrations and a chance to try and emulate my favorite pinup artist.
Yeah.....I enjoy Elvgren's work myself. I also get a kick out of Art Frahm and his "lost my panties" collection.

I absolutely love pinup art, it's part of American nostalgia....especially the WW2 nose art
That's great stuff Kojak. Thanks for sharing!

Nice, hare to beat innocent looking women in compromised situations where their panties accidentally fall off.

Thanks yall
