OK, so I definitely wanted to give it 30 days to figure out if this was going to be my lifelong look. Turns out that won't be necessary: It's 12 days in and I'm convinced.
I made it through the first days back at work, the whole family has seen me, and the positives outweigh the negatives by about 100 to 1. The funny thing is that the only people who don't seem to like it are people that should probably be going sly themselves
I'm just a newbie so I'm not going to try to sound like an expert. There are a lot of inspriational posts out there, especially a great one by pdxtodd titled One word - confidence. What I can say, though, is that if you're on the fence, just jump in and do it. You won't regret it, I know I don't. In fact, the only regret is not going sly sooner.
