BBC Discussion on Being Bald
« on: April 12, 2010, 07:14:47 AM »
Not sure if you guys can get BBC radio online, but there is a station called Five Live, www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive.  They are having a feature at the moment throughout the Richard Bacon show on hair, whether you should dye it, cover it, comb it over etc.

It is on from now until 4pm UK Time.  FYI it is now 2:15pm.

A SBG's head shines so other SBG's always have the opportunity to see the reflection of how good they look!

It says, " Not available in your area"
Did they have anything to say that made sense?

So the score, 20% not too swift :-\, I wonder how much time they devoted to the Sane & Sly.  Although I guess the comb and cover could have been funny ;D.

I was able to listen to it through their archive.
There was one interesting story from their guest Alain de Botton:

For him the hair beginning to fall out at 21 was traumatic and made him think about aging and death early. He was impressing people with his looks before. He couldn't do that any more so he had to come up with other ways to get attention, and became more introspective and philosophical.  He believes that if MPB hadn't happen to him so early, he would have a different profession now.

Another guest was a hairdresser. At the end he said: "Ask your girlfriend for advice." Bummer!
Ach du meine Nase!
