Litrally just shaved off my long hair!
« on: July 27, 2009, 03:11:42 PM »
Was a very strange thing... I just did it. Felt like I was watching myself. No emotion at all. Thought it was kind of cool. I still need to shave with razor just heating up the bath room ready to do so. I still need advince on exactly how to use the products. would it be head wash > head shed (then rinse?) > Head click (shave) > Head Lube  ??

The only one bad side is I have a gut wrenching stomach ache. Its been building because I know I needed to do it. But hopefully later on it will go. And after a month I'll be more used to it and 2/3 months on it'll just be... hair?! what a strange notion!!

Such a big step for me and I just went fudge it (or words to that effect) and did it...
I dont know who to tell first!! so doing it on here because this site has helped me get to this position and well it just makes sense  :XX

Congrats on taking the first step Elessar.   You didn't say what type of razor you are planning on using.   DO NOT use a disposable.   Routines vary for each of us but as a rule, start with a good hot shower.  You may want to shave in front of a mirror at the sink until you get the hang of it.  Start with your exfoliator, rinse, apply your headslick, shave (making sure to take your time and watch the pressure you apply until you get to know the hills and valleys of your own noggin.) Apply a good cold water rinse and then if you wish, headlube or aloe vera.  Hope that helps.  Post a pic when you get a chance.  Good Luck

Congratulations, that's the way to do it. It looks great. And, it wont take 2 or 3 months for you to feel like "its just hair." I bet it happens a lot sooner than that!!

Nice job!

The first time I looked in a mirror after removing the remnants of my old hair a huge smile crept upon my face.

I knew with that feeling that very second that it was right for me.

Congrats!

Very good looking bald head.

Your shaving-routine will work (it's like mine). But no pressure upon the blades - important rule!

Keep it SLY.  O0

Looks awesome on you bro...

glad you did the long hair to a full slick bald head...

nothing else would have given you the edge that long hair gave you like a bald head does! O0
