To all you fellow Bronx Bombers fans out there, it was nice to see AJ Burnett finally get back in the win column after 7 tries. But in addition to the Yankees finally starting to see the light at the top of the AL East, there is one other issue I have. Joba Chamberlain needs to go back to the bullpen, and NOW! When is Joe Girardi going to realize that Joba needs to be in the pen? All the talk here in NY is that (hopefully), he'll be back in a setup role by the All Star break. That just doesn't make sense to me. Why can't they just leave well and well alone, and keep in a relief role? Here's to 96 MPH fastball wishes, and strike out dreams!
Praise the Lord and pass the shaving cream! Its the bullpen that may kill my Yankees and we MUST GET RIGHT FIELD straightened out.
My sentiments Marty. Although it appeared for a bit that Nick Swisher was the answer, at least until the X man came back...he has cooled down. Maybe a platoon of Gardner, and Swish will help a bit? Who knows.....there isn't much on the block so far. We may see Austin Jackson REAL soon.... Go Yanks!
