Does HB Glassy lube give you a slippier finish than Matte?
Meaning, when you run (or the ladies run) a hand over it, is it slicker to the
motion?

I don't know if it is slicker. I tried the Matte a couple of times but use the Glossy. I think the Glossy gives you a better look. It makes your head look slicker but I didn't really feel a difference just the look was different. However, with a slicker look the ladies seem to run over to you more so they can rub your head.

Nope, there is no difference to the touch. I used the matte lotion for a while but ended preferring the glossy.

I have only used the glossy so far. I wouldn't say it is slicker, but it can tend to feel a bit greasy after a full day. I also recommend the Bald Guyz brand moisture gel. THe HB glossy will give you a nicer shine, but the BG moisture gel will not give you a greasy feel. All in all they are both great products.

Is there any Matte product that does not leave the greasy feel? I get very very greasy. So, i have not even tried the HB lotions. I have the Bald Guyz gel and it works pretty well for me. However, it adds to the greasy factor.

I prefer glossy for the look, but it does leave a greasy feeling on your head

Hmmmmm, I think that what may be happening here is that I don't notice the greasy factor because what ever I use I either wash my head in the sink or use a HeadBlade wipe. So in that case it's never more than a few hours since the last "rinse off"!!!
I will say though that I got another fantastic head shave this am. Incredibly close, baby smooth, ahhhhhhhh!!

is it just me or does the matte give u a little sting when u apply it?
and yes glossy > matte. my opinion.
does anyone know if there is a more basic product, like a lotion or such, that will give u the same shiny look?

Yes I get a short term "minor" sting.
But I do with LOTS of my trial products.
Non has yet then caused further irritation etc... I do stay away from strong/high percentages of alcohol. My skin is VERY sensitive, I don't even like menthol that is too strong.

I get a little sting (more of an "awareness" feeling) when I use matte Headlube. I attribute it to menthol in the product, but I'm not really sure why it occurs.

I use both glossy and matte HeadBlade - glossy for dress and matte for casual/work. I have also tried the Bald Guyz and it wasn't bad either - I just found myself prefering the HeadBlade product line.
